Fun Facts

The women of Bole Cooperative are known for their strong unity and teamwork. They support each other not only at the processing center where they boil, crack, and dry shea nuts together but also on their farms, working side by side during busy seasons.

They’ve also formed a susu savings group, allowing members to borrow money during emergencies and repay later, helping to reduce financial stress. When someone misses a meeting, others check in to ensure she’s okay and no one is left behind.

During funerals in the community, the women organize themselves to cook for guests from afar, showing their generosity and solidarity. At every meeting, they make an effort to provide water and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Bole Coop is more than a workplace—it’s a family.
