During the farming season, they work alongside their husbands and often manage their own farms while still collecting shea nuts.

When the shea season ends, they shift effortlessly into other income-generating ventures like pito brewing, food vending (selling koose), and trading in the local markets. Even widows in the group carry the full weight of caring for their families, taking on both parental roles with strength and grace.
