Savelugu Suglo Mboribuni Sheanut Pickers and Marketing Society

The newer of two centers in the district, the Nyerko Fresh Nut Center is located 45 minutes from Savelugu and 7 kilometers from a designated organic collection area 51.085 hectares in size. The center produced 4.351 tons of fresh nuts in its first year of operation. The 1,781 women of the cooperative spanning 11 communities have received training on handling and processing organic shea nuts and are excited with the opportunity of a sustainable additional income source.

Since the completion of the post-harvest center and delivery of two motor king tricycles, the story is different. We bring back so much more nuts.
