The women of the Damongo-Sunkpa Cooperative are deeply committed to working with SFC and often encourage one another to stay loyal to the partnership. Why? Because they remember how things used to be selling their shea butter to individual buyers (market women) who offered low prices and no real support.

When SFC stepped in, everything changed. The women quickly realized they had been underpaid for years. Now, with SFC, they enjoy fair prices, receive their payments within a day, and even earn bonuses! These extra earnings go a long way to helping them pay their children’s school fees and take care of other important needs. It’s more than a business it’s a lifeline for the community.
