Pagsung Shea Butter Processors Cooperative

The Pagsung Cooperative was established with just few determined women, united by a mission to improve lives through dressmaking training. As the group grew stronger, they embraced a new opportunity for shea butter production and selling to local buyers.

Their journey took a big step forward in 2010, when Savannah Fruits Company (SFC) began sourcing butter from them. In our centre, we are involved in a social contributions of ₵1 referred as "Small Box" whenever we receive money from butter sells, the funds are used to help members who are in need or having an occasions and if there is no such occurrence in a long time, the money will be shared among members according to what each person contributed.

From skills training to becoming trusted shea suppliers, Pagsung has proven the power of women's collaboration and resilience.
